FOLLOW-UP ‘BUILDING THE WYOMING WE WANT’ CONFERENCE JUNE 9-10

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – Gov. Dave Freudenthal announced today that the second statewide forum to talk about Wyoming’s future will take place in Casper on June 9 and 10.

The “Building the Wyoming We Want: Values and Vision” conference will be held at Casper College’s Krampert Theatre beginning at 1 p.m. on June 9 and ending that day at 5:30 p.m. On June 10, the event begins at 7:30 a.m. and concludes at 12:30 p.m.

The conference is open to the public and to state and local leaders. Registration is required as space is limited.

“We’re excited to continue the discussion that began at last year’s conference,” said Terry Cleveland, who leads the initiative’s advisory committee. “We will also talk about the
progress that has been made in the last year and about the future of the initiative.”

Gov. Dave Freudenthal will deliver the keynote address at the event.

“Despite our recent economic downturn, now is not the time to stop thinking about the Wyoming that we want our children and grandchildren to enjoy,” the Governor said. “We invite those who want to be a part of this conversation to join us in Casper for what will be a fascinating
discussion about the state’s future.”
